Doak Field at Dail Park
Red and White, Under the Lights
Doak Field at Dail Park stands as a cornerstone of NC State baseball history, with roots that trace back to 1966 when the program first played at Doak Field. Over the decades, it has evolved alongside the Wolfpack, growing from a modest college diamond into one of the premier venues in the ACC. Named in part for longtime supporter Sam Dail, whose contributions helped transform the facility, the ballpark reflects generations of investment, pride and belief in NC State baseball.
Renovations in the 2010s elevated the stadium with modern amenities while preserving the tight, high-energy atmosphere that defines it. Legendary players, postseason runs and unforgettable moments have all unfolded on this field, building a legacy that connects past and present. Today, it remains a place where tradition isn’t just remembered, it’s carried forward every time the Pack takes the field.
