The Heart of Wolfpack Softball

The Curtis & Jacqueline Dail Softball Stadium is the home of the NC State Wolfpack softball program and stands as one of the premier collegiate softball venues in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Built to elevate the program to a high competitive standard, the facility features a natural grass playing surface made of Bermuda grass with rye overseeding, as well as outfield dimensions of approximately 200 feet down the lines and just over 200 feet to center field, creating a balanced and regulation-level playing environment.

Beyond the field itself, the stadium is designed with both athletes and fans in mind. It includes a spacious concourse lined with concession areas, restrooms and multiple ticket booths, along with a modern press box equipped for media coverage and game-day operations. Stadium lighting allows for night games, while an electronic scoreboard provides real-time scoring and statistics for spectators. In addition to serving as the home field for NC State softball, the venue regularly hosts major events such as North Carolina High School Athletic Association state championships, further solidifying its role as a key softball facility in the region.

An Intimate Game-Day Atmosphere

Dail Softball Stadium is known for its “bi-level” seating and intimate atmosphere, located right on the main campus near Reynolds Coliseum.

Championship Success Early On

In just its third season, NC State softball captured both the ACC Regular Season and ACC Tournament titles.

Honoring Wolfpack Supporters

The stadium is named in honor of Curtis and Jacqueline Dail, longtime philanthropists and boosters of the Wolfpack Club. The Dails have been significant supporters of NC State athletics for decades.
