3D Tour Description
NC State’s Campus Health Center, located at the corner of Cates Avenue and Dan Allen Drive, is a contemporary two-story facility designed with a professional yet welcoming clinical atmosphere. The building’s architecture features a blend of traditional red brick and large glass panels.
Upon entering the main lobby, visitors are greeted by a bright, open reception area with high ceilings and streamlined finishes. The first floor is organized as the primary hub for medical clinical services. To the side of the entrance, the Pharmacy is easily accessible, often featuring a dedicated counter and retail display for over-the-counter health needs. The main floor also houses the appointments and cashier windows, medical records and specialized units including the Laboratory, X-ray and Physical Therapy. The flooring transitions from durable hard surfaces in high-traffic lobbies to shorter-pile carpeting or slip-resistant clinical flooring within the hallways and exam rooms.
The building’s layout uses wide, straight corridors to connect the various clinical wings. Strategically placed seating areas serve as waiting rooms for different departments, featuring comfortable armchairs and tables arranged to maintain clear walking paths.
A central staircase and elevator provide access to the second floor, which overlooks the main entry area. This upper level maintains the same clean, modern aesthetic and houses the Counseling Center, Health Promotion and the Gynecology Clinic.
The exterior of the building includes a dedicated patient parking lot and is situated near major Wolfline bus stops. Wide, paved pathways and tactile curb cuts lead to the automatic glass entrances, ensuring a smooth transition from the campus sidewalk into the health facility.
